How do I fix the flickering issue in assets?


How do I fix flickering issue in assets? The problem is solved when I set the shadow quality to medium in the scalability section. But in the high and above parts, the shadows look like this. How can I solve it?

Is that more than one mesh? It looks like Z-fighting, as they call it.

Is it just a mesh, or is it a blueprint?

Since setting the shadow quality to medium helps, it might be related to the shadow resolution or cascade settings. Try adjusting the shadow bias and distance in the light properties as well. Sometimes tweaking those can reduce flickering without sacrificing too much quality.

Now a days that could be straight up Nanite… go figure…

I opened the Nanite for door mesh. Problem solved.

To be fair, I was mocking the engine.

The fact it was really your solution is just an unfortunate by-product of the engine having become so bad that it is now 100% predictable…
