How do I do open and close chest for vr 5.1

I was wondering and building my game when I made a cool chest or/and town modern day kinda thing and made this cool chest I want to open and close it then make it pop up with loot how do I do that guys? Spawn actor and randomize somehow and how do I animate it and it play the animation when I interact with it I’m confused on how to do it though ya

To open and close, use a timeline. That way, the animation goes with it as part of the blueprint, and you can place them all over the level. ( As opposed to a level sequence. )

As far as making the coins pop up goes, if you mean they sort of expand a bit as the chest opens, then that would be ‘world position offset’ in the coin pile material. The coins are all part of one mesh and material, in that case.

Am I on the right track?

Yes but I’d also want to know how to activate the timeline aswell as physically being able to open the chest
