How do I apply a material to all sides of the brush automatically?

I want to apply the material to the whole brush at once without having to manually click on all the sides. My selection options in the right-click menu allow me to select all brushes with the same material. Not helpful for this… I don’t see a way to just apply this one material to all sides of my simple piece of geometry.

Am I missing an option? Sorry for the super simple question.

Select the brush, then shift+b, in the details , apply material. Just make sure you have the material selected.

Works beautifully, thank you very much!

There is no such option/button like “Apply material”.

SHIFT+B and then drag the material you want into the ‘Surface Material’ input control.

You guy’s your answers suck. Had to find it somewhere else. Anyway if you need to put a material on an object like I did, click the object (piece of geometry), press shift+B and it will select all sides(faces). From there do whatever you need to to all the sides and if you drag and drop the material it will apply to all sides.

Better is to create a static mesh. After that, the previous brush can be treated as a mesh, with the usual texture options
