Hello everyone.
I published a plugin on Fab, but I can’t add it to my own account.
I tried to buy it with a different account, and it was able to download and install normally, but when I switched to my own account, this item did not exist in the vault.
As you can see from the Fab’s product page, I own this item. But I can’t find it in my library, and I can’t find it by refreshing and searching on Epic Launcher.
Is anyone else having the same problem as me?
All sellers have that issue for non-migrated plugin/game system.
You should usually find it via the Fab Plugin(from unreal editor) thought.
Otherwise no, it just don’t appear in Vault nor in Fab website(my library). It also doesnt have the mark icon Owned somehow.
Thank you for your response. The plugin was released on December 8, 2024, so there should be no issues related to the migration of the Unreal Marketplace plugin. Additionally, I have tested purchasing and installing this plugin on another account, and it worked without any issues. However, when I log in with the account that published the plugin, it only shows as owned but is not searchable in My Library or Epic Launcher.
Yes i mean any plugin that was released before Fab launched, only those are which you can view in your library(if you are the publisher). Otherwise plugin released after Fab launched won’t show up in your library(publisher account).
The only way to download and test your own plugin is to use the Fab Plugin inside the editor(from 5.5).
All right. Like this? What I see in the engine with the Fab plugin is also already owned but not downloaded. Maybe after many years, Fab will become a little more normal. Thank you
It’s a known bug, I’ve reported it a while ago: I cannot download the product I’ve just published on Fab
I hope they fix it soon, because it’s quite annoying not being able to verify everything went OK with my own product publication.
