I have a persistent level made up of multiple tiled landscapes I would like to be able to automatically attach certain foliage to each material layer of the landscape… So for the grass material sections on the landscape i would like to automatically assign grass to that part of the landscape and maybe some rocks… instead of painting all 32 landscapes I would rather just assign the foliage and have it randomly place it… I know this can be done I just don’t know how to do it or maybe I’m not typing in the right words to find out how any help would be huge thanks…

2023- Six years later, I recently purchased a Procedural Landscape Package that assigns foliage assets to specific landscape layers, I’ve been examining it trying to figure out where this happens in the material and have been searching YouTube and am actually surprised at this point, that there is not much there in the way of specific tutorials on the subject.
