Hi
I bought carpet model from Store. They said “Every model has hand-made UV maps for perfect lightmap baking.”
I use Path Tracer in UE5. No need to lightmap baking.
How can I remove lightmap baking from model?
Thank
Travis

No need, the pathtracer ignores lightmaps.
What you’re seeing is probably lighting that the author put into the texture.
Hi
You right, I check diffuse texture and find out they are brighter in one side.
Do you have any idea to balance bright of texture?
Thank

Honestly I would just even it out by painting over it in your paint program of choice. Make a new layer set to additive or multiply (depending on whether you’re lightening the dark side or darkening the light side) and paint with a big soft round brush, taking many strokes at a very low opacity to ensure there isn’t an obvious transition.
You can try using frequency separation to preserve the details while only editing the color, but assuming you use multiply or add as your blend mode, it shouldn’t be necessary.
Another option would be to try a de-lighting tool
