Ok so I want to make a material where if its applied to a flat plane, the texture will spin and expand outward infitnitely. Like a galaxy. I want this to be the barrier for the bounds of where the player can go. Any ideas?

where is the option to set material wires like that, instead of the regular curve ones?
You have to dig down a bit: Editor preferences, Content Editors group, Graph Editors panel, expand the Splines group and set the X component of Forward Spline Tangent from Horizontal Delta to zero. Do the same to the next variable (…from Vertical Delta) as well.
