When I import a 3D model in “fbx” format, after importing I can just see each component but can’t get the assembled model. Procedures of importing are as follows: 1)New a folder in the Content Browser. 2)Drag the “fbx” file into the folder. 3)Adopt the acquiescent settings to import the model and wait… There are about 66000 components in the Content Browser after importing, but none of them is the completed model I need. My classmate uses the UE of version 4.12 to import the same model and he can get the assembled model. I’m confused a lot and can’t solve the problem for a long time. Did I make wrongs in settings? How can I get the completed model imported?
In importer there is a tickbox “Combine Meshes”. This will force importer to bring your model is a single mesh.
