How can I eliminate screen tearing in packaged Mac project?

I get screen tearing when running any project I’ve packaged on a Macbook. This includes default projects already provided within the engine (FPS, Flying, etc,) as well my own. The screen tearing appears on camera movement, just like in this video by someone else: UE4 4.21 Screen Tearing macOS Mojave - YouTube

I’ve tried turning VSync on and off, changing target hardware and quality, setting frame rate limits, setting a fixed frame rate, and various combinations of the above. Nothing has made any difference. I’ve tested on a 15-inch 2018 Macbook Pro running Mojave, and a 13-inch early 2015 Macbook Pro running High Sierra. Both exhibit the same tearing. I would really appreciate any help with this, as it’s the only thing in the way of releasing my project!

I’ve only noticed this in full screen, and then vsync fixed it.

But, you know there are two kinds of full screen? Windowed full screen and unwindowed. Have tried both?
