Summary
I made a ramp model in a blender. The materials of the Blenderkit addon were superimposed on it. I exported it to a computer in fbx format and added it to the ue5 project. But instead of beautiful metal materials, the project had two identical strangely green materials. Is it possible to use Blenderkit if I want to import a model into ue5? And if so, how do I export and import the model correctly?
Steps to Reproduce
- Download and install Blenderkit addon to Blender.
- Create model and apply the material from Blender to it.
- Export model with .fbx format.
- Import .fbx to ue5 project.
Expected Result
I expected the material and model to be imported correctly.
Observed Result
But instead of the material that I chose in Blenderkit, in ue5 there were generally not the same or even similar materials.
Platform(s)
Blender, Unreal Engine 5, Windows 11
