How to control/change the World Displacement direction?

Usually you multiply the object normals by the displacement amount to ensure the displacement is in the correct direction for all parts of the mesh

I was having issues with this as well, as I needed my displacement map to be applied to a sphere but found that it would go off in the world direction instead of following the normals of my object.

Like Ehamloptiran said, you just need to multiply the object normals to the map. I just had to do some quick digging and found the node I wanted in the material editor. So for others who need something similar, it’s called VertexNormalWS.
