When I create a combo box, by default the text of the select-able items seems tiny.

Is there any way for me to increase the font size of combo box items?

Yes, there is, but instead of changing size of text of combo box item, You can tell combobox to use Your own widget as item. in Your own widget You can do whatever You want. I made a video about it:
