How can I change foliage type from Actor to Mesh?

Hi all,
I have set up foliage types as “Actor Foliage” referencing blueprints to try fix raytracing WPO issues but now I would like to revert them back to original Static Mesh types. Going from mesh to Actor seems to work fine by right clicking on the foliage type and using “Replace with…” but it doesn’t seem to work in reverse. I don’t get any Static Mesh objects appearing in the list when I do so.
Does that make sense… and is it possible/is there another way?
