This is a new RealityScan experiment to try and create a terrain model and ortho image; this time from (4) scanned diapositives, 16-bit grayscale, (2400 dpi) originally shot 29 Apr 2000 using a Zeiss RMKA, 240mm x 240mm, focal length:153.272mm. These aerial images contain the typical marginal information; e.g., fiducials, date, project, flight line, image numbers.
The first question: How does RealityScan handle the margins of an image?
The second question: Is the following manually added EXIF data sufficient for RealityScan, and if not, what additional EXIF data is recommended?
Code
exiftool -Make="Zeiss" -Model="RMKA" -FocalLength="153.272" -FocalLengthIn35mmFormat="153.272" -GPSLatitude=44.5297591547 -GPSLatitudeRef=N -GPSLongitude=68.4133793274 -GPSLongitudeRef=W -RelativeAltitude=914.4 -GimbalYawDegree=-86.3137685 -gimbalPitchDegree=-90 "D:\Jobs\2026\Ellsworth Cemeteries\Old Tinker Farm Cemetery\From Paul Smitherman\Figuring the Principal Point\Ellsworth-April-29-2000---5629-001-1-001.tif"
Note that the April 2000 surveyed photo ground control points (epsg6484, Geoid96) will be added into RealityScan.
Thank you very much!
