What is the ideal DDC setup to use alongside Horde? It’s a bit confusing atm.
I can see that Horde does have a DDC plugin, that seems to be somewhat implemented, although I’m not entirely sure how complete this implementation is, whether it should be used, or how it can be used.
Additionally, how does the Horde DDC plugin, which seems to be based on Jupiter, fair against using Zen as a DDC (which we have yet to setup)?
I’ve also noticed Horde has some code relating to a Symbol Server. What is the progress on this too?

Thanks for the question. I’ve checked with the team and this isn’t widely used at the moment (internally), which from my perspective I’d probably suggest to not adopt it at this point. The best advice I can give in this space is to more or less go with Zen /CloudDDC setup at this point in time.
Regarding the Symbol Server, I’d hesitate to say that this is beyond experimental. Let me speak with some of our internal team to see what the status is.

We are using Horde’s internal symbol server, but only as a stop-gap for integration with Sentry until I can deploy something more permanent. It can be made to work if you understand how to individually configure its dependent systems, but I don’t recommend it.
