Hololens 2 Holographic Remoting connection error

Hello all!

I am having problem connecting my Hololens 2 to Unreal engine on my laptop.

I have followed the official documentation on how to do this, I got it to work on my stationary computer without any problem, but when I try the same thing on my laptop I get “TRANSPORT_CONNECTION_FAILED MFSC (12)” when I try to connect to the Holographic Remoting app on the Hololens 2.
I can connect to the Hololens 2 using the device portal from my laptop (Connecting with the IP in the browser) without any problem.

I am using the MicrosoftOpenXR from the marketplace and the OpenXR plugin that comes with UE.

I have tried using both UE 4.27 and 5.0.
I have tried adding rules, both in and out, in the firewall to make and exeption for UE and Hololens.
I have tried both over WiFi and with cable.
I have tried unplugging the internet.

Nothing has worked yet sadly :stuck_out_tongue:

Any idea/suggestions on what to try would be nice

Same problem here . Have you sovled?

Nope, I have not solved it yet, for now I switched to using my desktop computer.

I would really want it to work tho, I would like to use my laptop to show people at work the hololens streaming feature as I think it takes Hololens to the next level
