When we run a demo from a build in the Vive (possibly also an in the DK2) the stat unit command, seems to be the stats for the window rendered on the monitor not the image rendered in the HMD. I say this b/c the display would read 13ms while the headset was getting what appeared to be low fps shudder, felt like 18ms. I’d turn off realtime AO, and DynamicShadows and the shudder would go away. This is all speculation as I don’t know how to test my theory. The headset reads the same fps as the monitor window. Is there a way to force it to give stats from the HMD? or at least know for sure what I’m seeing?
