bug-reporter says it’s in progress, so it hasn’t been fixed yet (hope it will be fixed soon)
38.1 seems to have the same issues. Goes very quickly and only generates a few gray blocks. Before 38.0 HLODS would generate fine and take a good while

- HLODs disappeared in the published Island.
- Building HLODs in UEFN resulted in a partial generation.
The HLODs for walls and floors are not generating.
Furthermore, walls and floors have no collision when a game starts (player and weapon fire pass through all walls and floors).
This completely prevents us from updating our maps.
Any news on this?

I don’t remember the trees setting their own HLOD layer… I just posting because i really don’t remember seeing this.. the palms ddnt have those layer and the HLOD built on those
Yeah, this HLOD layer was not there before 38.00.
Tried to delete every item with it on my map and re build HLODs without seeing any change.
any updates on this? It’s really causing problems for maps with HLODs…

This has not been fixed in 38.11

Question for the Creative 1.0 side, would these HLOD problems also affect Creative 1.0 with its render distance or is that separate? If so, if it’s fixed now, would it be fixed for 1.0 as well?
I only ask because of this problem I have been having for months, I’m a Creative 1.0 Builder.
HLODS are still broken. They cannot be generated, and an assembly error occurs. You go into the log, and it’s empty, you don’t understand what needs to be fixed. Has the HLODs issue been accurately resolved?
I tested also empty level, randomly Build Failed or finished correct. In Private Version still Foliage disappear in our map. HLOD doesn’t give any information - what is causing Build Fail, impossible to recognize the problem. It would be beneficial for Community, if there will be at least a will to investigate the issue. At this point communication doesn’t exist, which is very strange.
