I’ve submitted a bug report through the new channel, but I’m hoping maybe there’s an intended way to handle this so posting here.
My HLOD meshes are creating self shadowing artifacts on my normal static meshes (while I’m up close enough for the HLOD mesh to be hidden). Technically not self shadowing because it’s just a mesh inside another meshe’s distance field etc but yeah.
Below is a gif where I have manually selected the hlod replacement mesh for this group of meshes and I disable “Affect Distance Fields Lighting”.
If there isn’t a way to fix this, I’d love at least, if there’s a known way to disable “Affect Distance Fields Lighting” on all the HLOD meshes at once? Otherwise I’m going to have to go through one at a time which isn’t going to be fun.
