Hive animation is missing

Summary

The Hive wildlife NPCs animation is broken in the previous and last UEFN version - see video. In the preview test mode in UEFN editor when I playtest it everything looks fine. In the published live version the moving Hive NPCs are not animated.
Tested on PC and Nintendo Switch 2 and other players have reported the same issue.

The issue was first time observed in 39.20 and remains also in 39.30. The game was just updated to the latest version but issue remains.

  • Start the island 0564-0723-6518
  • Go to the balle zone (on the map with alien simbol - marked as Easy)
  • Check the attacking you Hive creatures

Expected Result

The moving Hive Creatures are animated

Observed Result

The moving Hive Creatures are not animated

and i think they don’t even attack (at least not normally)

Yes, same issue i noticed less followers versus unique players, mostly happens when something broke so playtested it and all other creatures and wildlife seem to work fine its only the bugs that wont move

Yeah. But I also see a kind of slow reaction on otger creatures. If you don’t shoot or come really very near they don’t react.

Yeah its pretty immersion breaking in my map, i also notice the once i have as neutral are attacking me

The bug remains also in the new version. In Editor test session everything fine. In the live version they are not really attacking and not animated properly.

Its still here, does this really need to take this long? I really dont want to take another bugged device out

Any update on this? It seems like a pretty important bug there is no need to leave it in for a month

FORT-1051336 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 40.00.

40.00? Thats like a month? And marking it fixed now?

The devices are critical for good running games how can it take this long?
