Summary
This issue has to do with hired NPC characters within the Fortnite game. The NPC revive function for a down player is broken. When the controlling player who hired the NPC selects the function for the NPC to revive a downed player, the function is cancelled by the NPC when enermy fire or proximity is detected. This shouldn’t happen. The NPC should ignore enemy players and focus on the revive of the downed team member. The NPC should not revert to it’s former function until and unless there are no downed team members to revive. A simple code could be written to fix this issue. I can’t tell you how many times I have sent an NPC to revive myself or a team player, with plenty of cover and time to do so, but then have that action countered by enemy fire or proximity triggers. Had this not happened, in most instances, the NPC would have been able to complete the revive without detection or enemy intervention. Please fix this oversight. Thanks!

Character
Steps to Reproduce
Get downed by a ranged enemy and have an NPC character in your control. Trigger it’s revive function.
Expected Result
The NPC will cancel the revive and focus on enemy players rather than doing the revive directive. The expected result is to have the NPC ignore enemies while attempting to fully initiate and complete the triggered revive request without cancelling it.
Observed Result
NPC does NOT revive you or a team player as requested. Instead, they continue to engage enemy players on triggered perceived threats.
Platform(s)
Fortnite Game platform modes where you can hire NPC characters to assist you in various functions.
