High quality foliage shadows only show when close

Hi everyone. I’m making a trailer for my game and having issues with shadows. As you can see in the attached video, as the camera moves away from the foliage some of the finer shadows completely stop rendering. I’ve researched this problem a ton and tried all kinds of things. For reference:

  • The light in the video comes entirely from Ultra Dynamic Sky
  • In both the PostProcess and UDS, Lumen scene view distance is increased significantly
  • foliage.LODDistanceScale 5 doesnt seem to do anything
  • r.RayTracing.Culling 0 also does nothing
  • r.Shadow.DistanceScale 0 doesnt work
  • I increased the Bounds Scale on each of the foliage instances to no avail

Genuinely at a loss here, and it’s really starting to annoy me. Any advice would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you!
