Hiding Windows taskbar at startup

I must have missed a command. I was able to configure my packaged game to run full screen at 1920X1080 borderless.
This works when the game itself is loaded. However, during startup the Windows taskbar is still visible at the bottom. E.G. When the startup video from my logo plays, it is still visible. Only until the main menu is loaded it dissapears.

My GameUserSettings.ini looks like this:

[/Script/Engine.GameUserSettings]
bUseVSync=False
ResolutionSizeX=1920
ResolutionSizeY=1080
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=1920
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=1080
WindowPosX=-1
WindowPosY=-1
bUseDesktopResolutionForFullscreen=False
FullscreenMode=1
LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=2
Version=5

Is there a line of code I need to add to make the taskbar dissapear from the moment the game goes fullscreen?

Hi MrRobville,

Is this what you’re looking for?

Thanks!

saw the same thing, the game goes borderless fine once loaded but the taskbar shows during startup, thats the loading and movie phase before your window takes focus and covers it.

what fixes it is applying the lockdown at process start instead of after the level loads. Kiosk Lockdown Toolkit is a kiosk mode plugin for Unreal Engine 5 with an Apply On Startup option in Project Settings, so the taskbar hide and always on top are active from the moment the game starts: Kiosk Lockdown Toolkit — Block Alt+Tab, Win Key & Taskbar for Kiosks | Fab

and a -NoKiosk command line switch skips all of it for maintenance builds, which saves a lot of pain while testing.
