Hiding Prop device breaks after travelling long distance

Summary

Tested using the TMNT Sewer (Hiding Prop Device Variant).
If two devices are placed in close proximity (tested within 20 meters), the player can constantly interact with them to travel between each device without issue. If the two devices are far away from each other (tested at 1200 meters), the interaction prompts are no longer shown to the player after use, meaning they can no longer be used.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create two TMNT Sewer hiding prop devices.
  2. On Device #1, Enable and Set “Hidden Travel Group” to “1”.
  3. On Device #2, Enable and Set “Hidden Travel Group” to “2”.
  4. On Device #1, Enable and Set “Hidden Travel Target Group” to “2”.
  5. On Device #2, Enable and Set “Hidden Travel Target Group” to “1”.
  6. Enter Game.
  7. Interact with Device #1 - It should transport you to Device #2.
  8. Interact with Device #2 - It should transport you back to Device #1.
  9. Attempt to Interact with Device #1 again.

Expected Result

You should see the Interact Prompt on Device 1#, allowing you to use it to transport to Device #2 again.

Observed Result

The interaction prompt is no longer shown on Device #1. You also no longer see an Interaction prompt on Device #2 if you travel back to it another way.

Additional Notes

Important Note: This only appears to happen when the two devices are far apart (tested at 1200 meters). If it is tested with the devices close together, the interaction prompts will show every time, as you would expect. This is with no change to the properties/settings.

After more testing, there is a sub-par workaround by attaching the Hiding Prop Device to a nearby prop, such as the floor. This seems to “fix” the interaction prompt issue described on this thread, but causes another issue.

Simply attaching the Hiding Prop Device to another device can cause the inner tunnel vfx to appear pure green…

After more testing, the Interaction Prompt appearing after attaching the Hiding Prop Device to a nearby other object is inconsistent after publishing the island to a private version. There doesn’t seem to be a way to consistently allow the devices to work properly at long distance.
