Hide aggressive tooltips?

OK, can we hide the massive tooltips?

I, like most people, use my cursor like a finger when scanning long lists. The cursor helps me keep place as I look for the one item that can no longer be searched for because the search bar was removed.

When I try and scan or click some item in a list, I get a massive tooltip box full of information that I’m not asking for. The editor is training me to keep my cursor away from the list of things I am looking for, otherwise the massive tooltip box completely blocks several items that I need to see.

Can this just be a preference? Do we really need all that information all the time? I get it, some people will want to see a full description “static mesh definition, 4 lines of english”, Source, Mobility, etc.

It’s overkill.

Most of the time, we are just looking for the one thing that we want to select.

Make it a CTRL hover or something.

Hey there @gldsgns! Welcome back to the community! So there’s a way to disable them and a way to delay them. It’s not recommended to disable them as many times the tooltips contain valid information that’s not just tips and some resources rely on this feature.

Awesome, thank you!
