Make sure to post your questions into the so that other people with the same problem also have the solution
Welcome to the nuthouse. Always glad to see how involved Epic is, it’s so much different than some of the other ‘competing’ products communities I’ve been in, not only are the everyday users here pretty awesome, I’ve never been part of a similar community with as much involvement from the original developers. Hope to see you around a lot.

Bring it, but make sure it’s plugged in first, and yeah - feel free to drop questions to the AnswerHub / Forums as well. It is really helpful when others can learn too

Let’s make something rad together!
Cheers
Post tutorials on the community then we will starting liking you and even update Unreal Engine’s YouTube channel with new tutorials for everything and we want it all in Blueprints and C++ and we want in two forms separate for each and mix. That way people who legitimately bought UE4 knows where to go and find the tutorial he/she is interested on working. Come on! Not everyone here are proficient and start sticking a thread that listed tutorials and even include user generated ones as well it just lighten up the community.
It could be like:
How to make particles do damage in Bluprints
How to make particles do damage in C++
Its not just UE4 we want tutorials for Blender, 3ds , Maya, other 3D modelling software even Photoshop and GIMP we want separate for our well funded developers and not so funded developers like me we want to use other option, by that we want 100% free and royalty free (if possible) if we do decide to implement them in our games. These are the things you should be looking into in community. Also start getting active at the following Reddit sub-reddits to get any ideas /r/gamedev, /r/gamedevclassifieds, /r/unrealengine, /r/UDK, /r/greenlightquality/, and /r/indiegaming (You won’t believe how many talented people are on Reddit).
TL;DR - We want tutorials for well funded developers and not so funded developers I will start contributing once I understand how to use Blueprint and release my own tutorials here in respect to the community. Also please do update community lively by making awesome gameplay videos we want to be left awestruck that way it influence us to make that game we dreamed of making. Please do respect the different sides of the community and don’t be afraid to take suggestions from other people.
Nice to see an official community manager designated on Epic’s end! I think you’ll enjoy it here, most of us are pretty laid back, and try to help each other best we can. What all does your new gig entail? Is it like being a mod, or more of an push for more interaction with the community? Either way I love how EPIC’s team have had such a big role in the community (I mean what other engine are you going to see a guy like Sweeney answering questions on a ???), you guys deserve a lot of credit for the way you have approached new engine. The engine alone would be enough, however creating the community you have and allowing it to help shape what makes up the Unreal Engine is really what makes engine stand out from the others. (and I say as a former CE user, since switching back in april it has been incredible how big of a difference there is).
So welcome to the forums! Thanks for the intro!
*ps… So does make you some kind of an Uber mod???, 's already taken the “Super Mod” title… But I think the “The Mod God” title is all yours if you want it!! haha
