Help with "Waiting for GPU - check ProfileGPU"

Hello all!

I’m trying to make my project run better, it’s literally just a large empty room with some dynamic lights and that it.

For some reason in the “stat scenerendering” the line “Waiting for GPU - check ProfileGPU” seems to take the most out of everything and it’s very random.

Sometimes I have 144fps easy all the way down to 10… With absolutely nothing going on just a large room with walls floors and lights.

All my meshes and textures show bright bright green on the shader complexity. I’m pretty new to optimizing but my meshes that makeup the level only have like 16 verts each. (Just a simple cube for walls and floors)

They are using nanite and lumen for the meshes and lights respectively.

Even just sitting in the editor with no level open is absolutely the laggiest thing ever. And I don’t got the best pc ever but it shouldn’t be struggling this hard to keep up with base editor and a few thousand static meshes and some dynamic lights.

I’m running a 1080ti strix, i7-7700k and 32 gbs of ram and ue4 is on an ssd

Any help, tips, tutorials, information or cursory things would be very helpful. Thank you!
