Help with importing models with proper skeletal meshes

i’ve been messing around with trying to port character models from FortnitePorting to Blender and then to unreal using the format i’ve seen in so many tutorials already. i noticed that when porting from blender to fbx in the proper size “cm” the skeletons import in unreal much bigger than they should


so i tried to export the models from FortnitePorting without scaling down to cm

which then gave the correct results for the bone size in uefn, but made the mesh enormous. i then found that you can change the bone preview size to a smaller size by changing the bone draw size.

only to find out that when you are building an IK Rig the bone sizes are still blown out of proportion and each control has to be resized down to 0.011 in order to funtion properly.

Is there a better way to port these models in specifically for animation and posing?
