Hey, just wondering if anyone knows how the noise node for beam emitters works? I have a basic understanding of material noise but I’m messing around with beam noise and am failing to get any good results and there seems to be hardly anything on the internet about it (I’ve read the documentation and didn’t really get anything from it).
It may help me if I can understand what the node is actually doing so I can adjust things like noise lock radius, noise speed, tangent strength and tessellation without having to guess what effect it’ll have.
