I made a simple broom model in Blender with no rig or anything. I also created a basic swinging animation and imported both the mesh and the animation into Unreal. I have an animation montage, but my animation and model are separate meshes, and I don’t know how to apply the animation to the player. The broom model is already attached to the player, but the animation isn’t working. If that makes sense, I’m not sure how to make the broom mesh move with the animation I have. I tried adding the animation to the player, but it wouldn’t let me. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Unreal Engine Community Forum! I pulled a link that may help you in this endeavor. Let me know if this answers the problem! UE-71260 - So how *do* we import additional animations in a Blender file? - An additional resource I like is the actual UE Guide on Importing Animations. It’s done with 3DMax, I think. But, same concept. I hope this helps!
