Summary
Trying to play 2 player on an Xbox Series X this used to work fine with the same accounts.
- Start fortnite go to Zero build
- Click to add second player in the party, sign in with an account, get prompt for a pin, enter it, pick the account again
- Now the screen is kind of broken both players don’t really show up but if you go to another menu option across the top and come back they both do. However, the second player controller doesn’t work unless you hold Y to take control
- After the second player takes control, player 1’s controller doesn’t work. You can trade between player to take control and ready up and join a game.
- Once in the game, one of the players can’t move and you cannot leave the match at all even with the player that works, you have to complete restart fortnite
I’ve uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, same behavior. This has to be a bug. How do I fix this?
