Help Us Improve the Epic Developer Community

Hey developers!

The Epic Developer Community is built around you – the innovators, problem-solvers, and developers who push the boundaries of what’s possible with Unreal Engine.

We’re conducting the Epic Developer Community Satisfaction Survey 2025 to better understand your experience. What’s working well? What can we make even better? Your feedback will directly shape future updates to the website and forums to help you connect, learn, and grow.

Start the survey here >> [LINK] (It only takes around 5 minutes to complete.)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and helping us keep building something truly epic together - and as always, happy developing!

Awesome, thanks!

Hello,

I am new to unreal engine and installed unreal engine 5.6.1 but facing a lot of difficulty with my Quixel log in.

And when tried to get support it was really difficult to figure out “How and Where” to approach for support/help.

I could really not find a standard procedure where i could reach out the technical team/department of unreal engine/epic games to seek help. Maybe there is a way which i am not aware of as a beginner but if there is a way it needs to be easily visible or accessible on the official epic/unreal web page.

a request to improve the community

I imagine it refers to humans.

The survey is broken and I cannot get past my birth date. It tells me I’ve used the back button when I haven’t.

You don’t need a survey to know that the overwhelming majority of users want AI generated slop to be banned from the Fab product listings completely. No compromises! *

Hopefully the reporting systems have been improved since the last time I tried to report stolen assets and projects.

If you want people to feel good about posting their work or buying from Fab, then there needs to be enough security to give everyone peace of mind. It would be nice if there was an official announcement from Epic that you’re going to implement these changes.

*AI developers tools and assistants do not fall into the category of AI generated content. Those have the potential to be useful.

agree with above. there are a couple of posts with a lot of people discussing that issue.

on a sidenote i want to add that it really would help a lot if the tools for reporting worked better.

report engine bugs, assets stolen, spammy posts. etc.

it’s quite painful to report engine bugs atm, and most people are unaware of the bug tracker. it would help if somehow it would be connected to the forum itself.
