I’m pretty new hat at this and still feeling out the logic in the Material Editor!
I was taking a peek at [this video][1] for creating a candle flame, and I liked the method the OP is using. However at around 0:32 there’s a material function titled Vutil_remap (input two V2 and one Scalar) which I can’t seem to figure out. I’m assuming it’s remapping the V coordinate within an inputted range but I can’t figure out the logic that would exist within the function itself.
If anyone has any guesses or ideas as to what is hidden behind this enigmatic material function I’d appreciate the help! Thanks so much in advance
