Hello, I'm trying to apply some decals on my level, but something is going wrong, I don't know why that

I’m trying to apply decals on my level but it’s not rendering correctly, or maybe I do something wrong. This is the decal image:

And these are the image settings:

This is the material blueprint:

This is the material settings:

This is the texture settings used in material blueprint:

And in the levels shows nothing.

Thanks!

Of course

These are the settings

And this is the material preview

Can you see the decal in the material preview? And can you show how you’re projecting it in the world:

Image from Gyazo

So it never shows in the preview?

Also, decals project along X, so you may want to scoot the actor so it overlaps the wall, otherwise you’ll just see gibberish on the floor - although I feel you’re aware of this.

Can you try it with the attached png just to test it out.

The source file, is it a png or something more esoteric, like a psd?

Plug in just A, not RGBA into the Opacity

my source file is png
i’ll try with your file

ok so now it’s working even with my texture, nice but it seems like has appeared a new problem

the opacity is not correct

Thats what i’ve done

Made the ‘beer’ line half alpha. Is there any special light setup on your end?

Can you be more specific please, because I don’t understand what do you mean
What do you mean by beer line alpha?

I attempted to replicate your setup. The letters in your image are partially transparent. I made the first line of text ‘beer inside’ transparent, too. The top line’s Alpha = 128. And it seems to work more than OK.

Unsure at this point what is the issue and why it manifests.

the opacity is not correct

Sadly, this is all the info you’re provided. I was wondering whether this could be caused by the way light is set up in your project. Consider applying the decal in a new blank project just to test it out. It might be easier to pinpoint the culprit.

And how does it behave - are you observing any undesired behaviours?
