Hi, I have a problem: after a certain height I can’t build in edit mode while in uefn I can but these constructions become indestructible, does anyone know why?
i believe they is a z height limit and this also stops you from spawning players above this height. If you use spawn pads the player will rift in the sky below the height you cannot build. I always assume this was a purposely done thing so i worked around it.
Sorry cant be of more help but for sure double check the spawn pads if you need them so you don’t build everything then realize it wont work like i did.
How high can you go before the builds become indestructible ?
There definately is a limit, it must be for optimumal performance.
Adding to the size of build grid would increase the size of the bitrate, because they operate at set sizes to do with memory configuration…I’m assuming… 16bit, 24bit, 32bit etc so the time to process that operation would potentially double and there may not be enough room with everything else that needs to be processed and stress out low end PC’s, consoles and/or mobile devices.
Oh no… that’s so low… I went and made a mountain that is 50688 high… Im gonna hafta drop a mutator zone in and put up a sign saying your leaving the build zone, come back soon !!
I assume the X,Y size of the build grid would be much larger, otherwise builds would be failing everywhere on large islands…
Which means its not a cube. more a flat box.
Would love to be able to have different user defined options so we could adjust the box dimensions, but stay inside whatever the limit is for X x Y x Z digits
