Health Powerup Device can't set health less than 1% of maximum Player health.

Summary

I have player Max Health set to 1000 within the Island Settings and would like to use a Health Powerup Device to set the Player’s health to 1 using the ‘Set To’ Effect and Effect Magnitude = 1.0 but the lowest I can set the Player’s health to using the device is 10 or 1% of the Island Settings’ Max Health.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set Player Max Health to 1000 in Island Settings
  2. Add Health Powerup Device and within Device put Effect = ‘Set To’ and Effect Magnitude = ‘1.0’ ( or in this case anything < 10.0)
  3. PIckup Health Powerup Device to see that health won’t go lower than 10.0 or 1% of the set Max Health

Expected Result

Player Health is set to 1.0

Observed Result

Player Health is set to 10.0 or 1% of the Island Settings’ Max Health (1000.0)

it might be by design. if you need to eliminate player use the Damage() method

I thought the same. In my case, I wanted to control Player’s health (either set to 1.0 or 1000.0) without using class selectors/designers.

Switching class is actually the preferred method, additionally you can SetHealth() in Verse
