I have an HDRI I’m using to light a scene, and it is lovely, with soft lighting but high contrast. When I render it from the sequencer, though, the contrast all but disappears. It’s not washed out like a linear/log type thing, just flat and uninteresting. I THINK I’ve disabled any exposure compensation (in camera and post process volume), but that’s apparently not it. Any ideas? It looks great in the viewport, and even scrubbing through the sequencer–it’s the render that sucks.
You can see how the nice dark shadow is just blah once the EXR is brought into AE. (I had the same result bringing it into Nuke.)
