Having trouble with opacity on Gear VR

Greetings! So I am trying to have a simple card for leaves. My material is as basic as it gets with a diffuse with the opacity mask in its alpha. I linked the alpha to the opacity and it is fine in editor but the build on the Gear (note 4) goes right to Oculus home. I tried a regular psd and then I tried to have the texture be a 32 bit targa and it still doesn’t seem to change anything.

Are there specific settings for getting alpha to work on mobile? Also are there any uides out there that are good reference for setting up materials properly for mobile? Thanks!
