Is there a why to have an object not receive shadows. I can see where it is to not cast shadows but i dont want it to receive shadows.
I’m wondering, what is your purpose for this? In my mind, the result would be the same as using the “Unlit” shading model of the material. If you want it to self-shadow and not get shadows made by other objects, I don’t know a good way to do it. Maybe only use Static Lights and make your object Movable? I’ve never tried that.
I just have some objects that are not unwrapped very well and them not having a shadow would help instead of the LOD map getting messed up. Its not the best way but have a tight deadline.
