has anybody tried succesfully to enable path tracer with a gtx 1060 6gb Ti GPU?

that is the best GPU my mother board will support and i would love to use at the least, basic path tracing rendering.

We have seen other users being able to use path tracer with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB.

While below our recommendations, you should be able to use Path Tracer. However, it may crash and have very low performance.

Please be aware that we cannot vouch for any hardware, the information shared is based on other users reporting this graphics card may be able to enable the path tracer functionality.
