Harmful Bug for Open-World & Roleplay Maps

Summary

I’ve noticed players with billions of gold on my map, dropping it everywhere. After speaking with one, it seems a long-standing glitch is allowing this, which has been around for over a year. This is especially harming role-play and open-world maps, affecting gameplay and all maps that save gold. Is there any workaround to prevent further abuse of this glitch?

When players drop gold at the same time they die and leave, the gold stays in their inventory when they rejoin.

The status of FORT-795159 incident has been moved from ‘Ready for QA’ to ‘In Testing’. Resolution Reason: ‘Cannot Reproduce’

Hi! This is affecting all maps that have a save system for gold and other items; players can basically duplicate anything. There’s even a tutorial on YouTube about this bug that was uploaded over a year ago.

We’ve been able to reproduce the issue here and we are investigating. Thank you for the report!

Any update on this?
people who did this are still dropping gold to other players…

This gold duplication glitch is ruining the purpose of the map, which is to earn gold, complete jobs, and do other activities.
