I am having an issue where Translucent objects are receiving incredibly hard shadows that cannot be softened.
Image #1 demonstrates this on the shadows cast on the ground from the vehicle, but also on the vehicle itself from the attached mirror. Some of these shadows are coming from lights that don’t even have Cast Shadow enabled.
Image #2 Demonstrates that if I change the Ground Plane material type to Masked, shadows behave normally, however the car itself still receives the original hard shadow from the mirror since it’s material hasn’t changed.
Both mesh materials are using Surface Forward Shading.
