Guards Cannot Use The Trinity AR

Summary

One time in UEFN I notice that guards and NPCs cannot use the trinity ar despite it being tagged “Guard”. I’m guessing that it is tagged by mistake, but it would be cool if guards could use it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Give a guard or a NPC the trinity assault rifle
  2. Spawn/enable them in game
  3. Confirm that they have the rifle by eliminating them

Expected Result

Guards and NPCs shoot at players using the trinity assault rifle.

Observed Result

Guards and NPCs don’t spawn in with the weapon, if they do then they just don’t do anything.

I have tested this in UEFN, I just recorded the video in creative because it was quicker to set up there at the time. I believe that this weapon was mistakenly tagged as “guard” because the non exotic form of this weapon (the collateral damage ar) functions more normally. Again, I think it would be really cool if this weapon was given support for AI to use instead of just removing the tag.

This bit here is more of a request, but… It would be amazing if the catalog of weapons that AI can use gets expanded. While about 80% of the weapons we have work with them, there are some really cool weapons that they cannot use from that 20%. Specifically the melee weapons, the only melee weapons they can use at the moment are the shockwave hammer, typhoon blade, basic sword, and basic hammer.
