Guard NPCs have no shooting accuracy since update

Summary

Since the last update (37.50) our NPC guards shooting accuracy has dropped to maybe 1%. It was probably 75% before. The guards are spawned from an NPC device and character behaviour setting’s Accuracy parameter is set to ‘VERY HIGH’.

Our game is a tower defence setup, the NPCs are on top of each tower, and this change means enemies are very rarely killed by towers and the game is now un-winnable.

Was there an intensional change to how accurate guards are?

Steps to Reproduce

Add 2 NPC spawners, both using guard NPC character definitions. Guard on team one has an assault rifle. Guard on team 2 has nothing.
Assault rifle guard will fire at the other NPC for ages at very close range missing every shot.

Expected Result

The guard should be able to hit the other guard.

Observed Result

The guard misses every shot.

do you have that “for each period of time to increase accuracy” ON? if not they have changed how this works, or some due to balancing around out of cover situations in pve.

also how does other unit types act for you, and any change at lower accuracy level? does it take time before they become accurate and what does enabling “every unit will share with team” like where “you/enemy” would be etc, if that helps.

also if giving both team guns, will both be as awful?
