Regarding Groom dynamics simulation (Niagara system) when using Movie Render Queue, it cannot warm up, causing the first few frames to show hair falling from T-pose. Is there any solution? My settings are as follows:
The effect particles have already fully filled the screen, but Groom still only starts falling from the first frame, unless I start rendering dozens of frames earlier.
Assuming my cinematic has 100 shots, if I want to render shot 90 and ensure the first frame is good, I must start rendering from the middle of shot 80, which will overwrite the footage of shot 80. This is very troublesome.
[Image Removed]I found a key setting that can solve this issue and ensure normal effects within the regular rendering range. However, please confirm: for this ticket, the main feedback is whether the effect meets expectations when this setting is not checked?
Hello the general guidance is to ensure that your level sequence has some handles in it that go beyond your start frame. So all of anim tracks and camera cuts track would start earlier than your first frame but the amount of time you want to warmup. And then to enable Render Warmup Frames and Use Camera Cut for Warmup.
Thank you for your explanation. It seems that for Groom to render properly, it is necessary to actually render some frames through Render Warm Up Frames.
