I recently realized that my character’s “groom” is always on top of any mesh with translucency.
I already tried several things but I can’t fix it.
I hope someone can give me a hand.
what we are looking at? Can you give more screens, both when it looks correct and when it doesn’t?
the groom is behind a translucent flat mesh.
Hello!
I assume that the groom is a transluscent material, if you turn off the DOF of the groom material the problem should be solved
Hope this helps!
Hello, thanks for the answer.
I have different options than you but I tried but it hasn’t worked for me.
Hello!
in order to make the material render before DOF, change the translucency pass to “Before DOF”
This method doesn’t work for me.
were you able to replicate my problem in a scene?
unfortunatelly I could not replicate your problem, when I tried, changing the Translucency pass to “Before DOF” solved the problem
Ive found another tread that points out that the problem might be the clipping distance
Ok thanks for your time
We’ll see how I fix it.
I found the solution.
It should have “Separate Translucent” checked.
And in the Material set it to “After DOF”.
Well, I hope someone with the problem I encountered will help me.
Greeting!
