GridLines do not disappear

Whenever I try to build the lighting, the grid lines disappear, however once I try to sculpt or do any landscape editing on the landscape, the lines come back? Any ideas? Is it a bug? Am I missing something?

This is to be expected with baked static and stationary lighting. These modes use a light mass calculation in order to render where light will effect and where shadows can be cast. If you change your lighting to movable you will no longer see the grids appear. You may want to do this if it disrupts your workflow and development. Just remember to change it back if you want to use baked lighting.

You can change the lighting by selecting your light in your scene. Then go to the details panel. At the top switch this from it’s default, stationary, over to movable by clicking the movable tab.
