Grid snapping on LEGO UEFN pieces

Summary

This issue was reported back in March of this year and still exists LEGO UEFN Snapping not functional
When you place a floor down it behaves on grid snap as expected, when you place a roof or wall the snapping does not work and rotates or jumps to a completely different area. This makes it very hard to build a quality map using the LEGO galleries.

Assets

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Grab a wall piece from the LEGO gallery
  2. Place it down on grid number setting 256
  3. Copy and drag to the next grid position
  4. Place it down

Expected Result

I would expect the piece to snap to the grid in exactly the same height and along the next 256 grid position

Observed Result

The piece rotates or even is placed away from where you are trying to place it. The issue is that you then have to spend a long time to line it up correctly, thus sometimes making it impossible to follow the LEGO rules of placement.

Platform(s)

PC UEFN

Additional Notes

I can provide a video of the issue if required and I am happy to talk to any devs if needed.

I had the same issue when i made 1 map and ive never made another since. I made a full map everything looked ok then i had to delete half the map to find some clashing pieces. I did make a suggestion to have a check and show what pieces were clashing but yea i tried i failed i was defeated haha
