Grey edges - how can I get rid of them ?

this is an UE4 problem I experienced from first day on: grey edges on meeting brushes. I tried every kind of lighting and materials, but this seems to be a special attribute of the UE renderer. Here is an example:

Do I have to live with this, or is there a way to prevent grey edges?

That looks like SSAO.
Ambient Occlusion

You can set this in a PostProcess Volume.
