i have a question regarding the grass instances:
What amount of grass instances is the right???
I have a Landscape 15x15 quads with nothing but the moss texture in it.
When i place some grass meshes (61K) the whole system freezes up!
Why is this?
I´ve turned down the value of the lightmap resolution from 8 to 4 but this is not the bottleneck. Tried to fix this with the Cull Distance but takes no effect.
There are other Levels in the community with huge fields of tight grass till the horizon. I cant get those results and i´ve no clue why.
Can anybody help me?
